Pre-press production is the first process in offset printing. This is a process in which a design goes through before it can be printed. The procedure in pre-press includes (but is not limited to) proofing, editing, typesetting, creating impositions, and color separation. These are some of the major steps in pre-press that are essential to perform successful printing jobs.
